About Sheila Ditchfield

With a diverse background in lifestyle and corporate public relations, Sheila Ditchfield has worked in the areas of travel, hospitality, interior design, fashion and entertainment, building an extensive network of industry and media alliances.

Most recently, she served as senior editor and vice president with Ruder Finn's Travel & Economic Development Group, and previously held senior positions with Spring O'Brien & Co., Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations, I.M.R., and Arnold Copper Architectural and Interior Design.

In planning communications programs, Sheila aims to achieve long-term strategic as well as immediate tactical goals, and believes that media messages must consistently reflect a company's management philosophy and a competitive approach to the marketplace.

A master of both Oxford and Webster's English, Sheila works in a variety of writing styles, and is adept at producing clear, concise copy. She has written material to build a brand, promote new services and products, revitalize existing ones, reach new audiences, protect a company's image and motivate employees.

Born and raised in England, Sheila Ditchfield has made a permanent home in the U.S. and divides her time between Manhattan and the Hudson Valley.

She holds a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of Edinburgh and has served as a vice chairman with the North American Airlines Public Relations Association (NAAPRA).
